I believe that community knowledge is the key to empowering people and podcasting is the future of accessible media and storytelling. During my time as a magazine major at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications I covered queer politics and community organization through multimedia reporting efforts, particularly podcasting. Segueing from print and online journalism to audio allowed me to combine my passion for accessible media with my love of reporting.
After graduating in three years from Syracuse University, I am now a freelance podcast producer and editor who is seeking to work with teams that are passionate about accessibility and want to bring stories to life through sound. I am particularly interested in LGBTQIA+ oral histories and creating sonically rich news for public consumption.
When I am not listening to or producing podcasts, I am taking photographs that chronicle queer communities and singing jazz standards.
